"Telling Us 'Like It Is' Is Not The Same Thing As Telling Us How You'll Make It Better..."

loose ends and post scripts from this past Sunday's show---

---GOP tells Trump to hush up---here's the dealio: Trump assumes the GOP will disown him, making him the popular alternative to whatever the GOP or the Dems serve up---and he assumes that his "telling it like it is" will appeal to enough voters to put him the White House---those who think he cannot pull it off need to

1. find and read the definition of the word "demogogue"

2. find and read (or watch the original 1949 movie version of) "All The King's Men"
ridiculing this guy is good fun

underestimating the chances there are enough people who will drink his Kool Aid is a serious miscalculation

but, here's the thing....rallying sufficient numbers to storm the village and burn it down accomplishes very little but burning down the village---

and a burned down village has little chance of defending itself against invading neighbors---

---if Blake Shelton had any respect for country music history and custom, the least he could have done was ride the John Deere mower to the liquor store and back home before he filed the papers-- these youngsters know nothing from tradition---

---re' our live in studio chat about the state of education in the state of Delaware...

" you can turn out well educated children, but if they are not inspired they will not become anything."-Elizabeth Brode ---

re' Elizabeth Brode live in studio discussing that state of education while mastering the selfie...

my posture is decidedly old man---but Brode's hair looks good, so nobody's paying attention to the slouch---

thanks to all the callers and listeners making SEP Nighttime a new Delaware talk radio habit...special thanks to Jerry and Dave for kind words and thumbs up.............

till next time......see ya.....
